Technology like this is making it easier for customers to monitor their own homes. Although it’s not the same as hiring a high-tech security company to monitor your home, it puts the security in your hands. I like knowing what’s going on indoors whether I’m home or not.
It has a straightforward, continuous live feed. I’ve never had trouble with a choppy video like I did with another small camera I tried to use for this purpose. It takes a minute for the app to connect with the camera when you start to watch the live feed, but after that it’s completely smooth.

I always appreciate when people leave detailed reviews, so I am going to give you a little guide for using this clever camera. It’s a newer brand, and there aren’t that many reviews, and I know it’s helpful when you have a word of mouth review.
    So here’s mine.
    UNBOXING
The cameras come in sturdy, cylindrical boxes. They’ll protect the cameras in shipping and even make good gifts. Inside is the camera, a micro USB cord, the plug, a sticky attachment to mount the camera, and a quick start guide.
    SETUP
I opened up the quick start guide, which is really the only instructions. But this camera doesn’t have a complicated setup anyway. It’s all quick.
Plug in the camera to an outlet using the micro USB. The tiny LED by the micro USB entry will flash when it’s ready. Then, separate the camera from the magnetic base, and press the small setup button until you hear the voice from the camera.
Then, go to the app on your phone after you download it and click the add camera button. Follow the instructions on the screen. You’ll need your WiFi network name and password, and you’ll need to scan something on your phone using the camera. Therefore, keep them both handy.
    USE
The most frequent way that I use the app is to watch the video live or check the history. Every time the camera senses movement or sound, it does a quick recording. You can watch that by tapping on the icon that looks like a camera on the bottom of the app. Then, click on the icon that looks like a clock at the top right to view history.
To watch live, tap “watch live” on the main camera screen from your app.
You can set reminders that the camera will broadcast for the whole house by clicking on the bell icon on the top right from the home screen in the app. The old reminders that you set will remain in the app’s history on your phone, and the camera will announce the reminder at the set time.
When I did this, the reminders on my phone said that they were recurring, and I double checked, and they were just one-time reminders. But you can set up recurring reminders from the app if you want.
I hope this review will help you make an informed decision and help you use the product if you get one.

Easy setup, excellent image quality, nice appearance.
    PROS
    1. SMALL camera
    2. Takes 5 minutes to set up (comes with good instructions)
    3. Great customer service
    CONS
    1. No battery option
    2. Doesn’t fit with some micro USB cords
I got this to go indoors and it’s the perfect camera for my needs. It’s small and stays fairly hidden, and it looks good anyways.
The camera itself came with a small booklet of instructions. The little manual was all I needed to set up the app and hook up the camera. Between the booklet and the instructions on the app, and the camera giving voice responses, my kid could set it up.
I did have a question about hooking up to my wi-fi, but they had options for calling, emailing or doing a live chat on their website. Customer service was helpful and I asked a few other questions just to get some more info about what this camera can do.
One of the things they told me is that the micro USB entrance is recessed more than it is on some other appliances. So if you want to get a longer cord, it might not fit into the spot on the camera. Also, if your power goes out, the camera won’t stay on unless you have a generator. It turns off when it’s not plugged in.
But I am still highly impressed with this product, the setup and the operation. It is handy and doesn’t require a genius to set up or use.

I am really impressed with the Hoop Home Cam. I can monitor my whole living room with one camera. So glad I can watch my kids.
The only thing is that I scare them sometime when my voice comes through the camera speaker. The volume is not adjustable, and the sound is loud but it gets their attention.
I would recommend this camera to mothers who need to see what there kids are doing and talk through the camera. I would think it would also be helpful when you start leaving your kids at home alone once there old enough and for babysitters.
I would also recommend this to people that need to monitor the inside of their home when there out. I have an outdoor camera but needed an indoor one. Keep an eye on your home and activities.

Pros: Cost, setup App is easy, video good in the day or night.
Cons: No hardware to mount it to wall or ceiling *the small cam comes with sticker and magnet, Micro usb
Took about 10 minutes to download the app and set this thing up. I got instant video on my app, and it was easy to figure out how to use.
I don’t know why someone would pay some of the higher prices out there for indoor cameras like this one. This has crisp quality video and sound! And you can choose to record, view history, etc.
I wish I could mount it to the wall or ceiling. It did come with some sticky mounting tape, so I’m going to play with that. It has a little base that the camera sits on, and it attaches with a magnet, so I think it might work. I’m just afraid that it’ll be too heavy. The biggest downfall of this camera, which isn’t a huge deal, is that the cord is only 6 feet. If I decide to mount it on the wall, I need a longer cord.
